Why should I switch my energy supply?
Simply to save money. Often this process is called switching because normally the process ends up with you switching your supplier and this is how many switching sites make money. However, what if you are perfectly happy with your existing suppliers?

If you have been with them for some time, you may not be on their best tariff available. The last thing they will tell you is that they can offer you a better deal - why do you think they make so much profit!

How often should I review my energy supply?
Annually in line with many of your other domestic overheads. if you currently have a fixed term tariff, double check the end date, or else you may be rolled over onto a standard tariff. Be aware of changes in the energy market - usually well covered on the news - aim for easy to get out of tariffs when energy prices are falling and look for longer term fixes if prices are on the rise. We have teamed up with British Utilities to help you secure the best deal on the net for your household.

Who sends me my bills
British Utilities do not supply your electricity or gas so they won't be sending you a bill. Your bills will come from the energy suppliers, at the rates you have decided on via our website.

The electricity & gas suppliers list does not include utility warehouse
Utility Warehouse can be found on the suppliers list under Telecoms Plus.

I would like my energy supplier bills in both names, not just mine
Suppliers will only accept contracts on sign up in a single name, once the switch has been completed a second name can be added by contacting your supplier direct.

Is there a discount for Disability Living Allowance?
The Disability Living Allowance is not automatically available but please ask your new supplier who will be able to advise if they can accomodate you. All energy providers have to offer social tariffs to help their most vulnerable customers cope with the high costs of gas and electricity. And according to new Ofgem rules, all social tariffs must equal the suppliers cheapest deals

What do I do if I cannot find my supply tariff?
For most of our suppliers you can select the standard tariff option, please feel free to call us on this matter and we can assist you through the process, please dial 0845 045 2010.
